Personality: Awhina was found as pup, forgotten in the middle of nowhere. Maui took her in the Tribe without asking her anything and grew her as his own pup. She was always grateful and whenever she had time she took care of Maui's pups. When she was big enough, as the Tribe was getting bigger and bigger, Maui taught her how to fight - just like his mother taught to him - and Awhina became the official guard. She patrols everyday the borders and sends messages through Niwae when she's around.
She's gentle, doesn't talk much but likes jokes and eating together with the tribe.
