May I ask what kind of material you used to make the dress? Its really pretty.

It is a cotton/silk hybrid of some sort (I never really looked into it lol!) I had to alter it a lot, it came in just the flat blue so I had to add the gold and the pleats myself. Sorry this doesn't help much! XD

He's done with modeling foam, fun foam, fake nails, stick-on pearls and coated in Stucco in the end.

I asked 'cause I'm working on a dragon "rider" costume for Halloween. But my dragon isn't anywhere near as realistic. Papercraft's more my forte.

It's carved out of foam and coated with LOTS of glue and paint to stiffen it. You can see some pics of the process here: [link] ^.^

Yes I used school glue and Flex bond, plus a crap ton of paint. XD It's holding up pretty well!
