Okay, for everyone who doesn't understand the effect (as I'm seeing the comments below), this is how it goes.
Diamond-Eyes Slice Dragon
Level 8 EARTH Dragon/Effect
ATK: 3000
DEF: 2750
"Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 2 monsters on your side of the field. Cannot be Tributed, or be used as a Material for an Xyz Summon. When an opponent's monster effect, OR if a Spell/Trap effect is activated this turn: you can banish 1 card you control, and if you do, this card gains 500 ATK. When this card leaves the field; Banish all cards you control, then you can Special Summon this card. This card cannot be Special Summoned if you have no cards in your hand."Β

You realize a Tribute Summon is the same as a Normal Summon, right? That's the reason a lot of people either use cards like Kaibaman/Maiden or Special Summon monsters like beforehand in a Blue-Eyes Deck and why Galaxy players use Photon Sanctuary to Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes.
