Okay well this is an art trade for Hyper-Elf (If I knew the thing to type to show the person's icon I would) She said that her arts not good enough to do an art trade with me and I think thats whack. So I decided to draw her her favorite character Itachi so she can get.. um ... inspired I guess ( I felt stupid just now when I typed that for some reason) Well there honestly isn't much to work with when it comes to Itachi (Sasukes brother if your just watching the anime) He only shows up in 2 volumes and thats it. So I was sorta blocked when it came to what to draw. So I decided to do a montage of all the stuff Itachi does to make him an asshole (sorry Hyper-Elf). After I did this I realized that I didn't hate Sasuke as much as I thought I did. Maybe because I have a brother that I don't really like either... but its not like I want to kill him... (hmmmm) Well yeah... hope you like this Hyper-Elf. Honestly just draw anything that inspires you or makes you want to draw and say its for me. I don't really want you to force yourself to do something just cuz your obligated to... let it come to you naturally. I'll like it better that way even if its a stick man or something.Related content

I think the Itachi in the middle really ties it all in together.
While Sasuke really gets under my skin because of his poor choices, I still love his character and root for him, not because he's so "cool" or hott or whatever (though he is), but because I understand the choice he made was due to various circumstances (Itachi). It really was a bad decision to go to Orochimaru, but everyone has to take their own path. And even though he can be a bastard, he's not evil. Like many other Naruto characters he just needs help getting back on the right path, even if that means helping himself do that.

i love your detail and shading! nice! i love your naruto art! very nice. itachi is very cool, yet a bastard, but i feel sorry for sasuke for what he had to put up with. hmm... i like sasuke tho... ^^ your drawing looks cluttered and busy, but yet it doesn't, it looks balanced (maybe that's what i'm trying to say!

argh, i hate cheesy comments like that, but i'm sorry... there's really not much else for me to say right now O__o your style kicks ass all over the place. i love the way you shade... and all the details you put into it... it's obvious drawing is natural to you - i can't imagine doing stuff like this. like the top right corner... the room... even though it's sketchy, i can see the details (like the futons in the closet, or the floorboards), and the lighting from the window... the blood... the /perspective/...
and jeez, that's just ONE CORNER.
so you get an idea of how much my brain hurts from looking at your artwork 
i love how all the images blend together like this... awesome, awesome job. you rock my socks. itachi is sexy. and so is your art.

Grr... I compeltely understand... I always wind up hating him for being such an idiot and then I anylaze him so much that I don't hate him and then he does something stupid and I hate him all over again. It's lke a vicous never ending cycle. Mou... Sasuke is different though... I don't like him and will probably never like him until he stops being such a snobby jerk. >__< The cloak is my favorite part of this but I really love that picture in the upper left corner. ^__^ I love it in the comic too and you got him to look almost caring! X3

Itachi is indeed an odd character, who is probably more than just a villian to move the plot along. The other bad-guys we have seen so far are kinda nasty and cruel (like Orochimaru, Zabuza, ect.) Itachi isn't really too mean when we meet him, if that makes sense. What surprised me about him was when he took off his hat and ...well just how young he looked. You really capture the youth and mystery in Itachi. Absolutely wonderful emotion in the drawings of Sasuke. I really like this alot.

Amazing detail, just like before. I'm impress with this montage, capturing the absolute worst of perhaps the most enigmatic character in Naruto.
Yeah, Itachi's a total bastard, but I'm sure that in due time we'll understand his reasons. Until then, he's the guy we all love to hate and you've depicted him perfectly.

When it comes to Itachi, yeah he's an ass. Sasuke forces me to constantly change my mind about him, I can NEVER settle on one opinion. First he has no appeal at all, then he does some cool stuff that I like, then he dives deep into the negative zone and even then if I analyze him too closely I find it way too hard to try and hate him. I think Itachi's cloak is my favorite part of this, really nice job on that.
