i finally got around to watching past episode ten of an anime called 'naruto'. then i randomly decided to make a fanart pic of sakura and ino, since they're ex-bestfriends, rivals, enemies sometimes, and occasionally even allies. also, they are very similar in some ways, which makes them rather interesting.now, my graphics tablet died a few weeks ago, so i havent really been able to do anything much in terms of digital pics. and seeing as im broke, i cant afford a new one. so this pic was done ONLY using a mouse, which would explain the wonkiness of the lines. somewhat, anyway, since i still havent mastered the GT.
but anyway, i know they're are several things wrong with the pic, like the neck and sakura's (the pink haired one) hair. well, actually they're are lots of things wrong with this pic, but whatever, i spent hours on it, im sick to death of my mouse, and im not fixing it.
however, if anyone feels like making critisisms for me to bear in mind for the future, i'd like to hear them.

hmm, interesting concept. I esp like their eyes. nice CG work with the shading and smudging.. yeah the lines are a bit wobbly but that's what happens when you use a mouse... maybe you could use the pen tool or something...
anyway I like how their faces and necks match up, but maybe instead of having them wear collars of different heights, make them match so that the transition isn't so abrupt. same thing with the hair. I know Ino's got that ponytail, but you could sort of lower it a bit and kinda mesh it with Sakura's hair, if you know what I mean...
anyway, nice work! and I like the background too

i thought about that, and i made the faces match up even though technically they shouldnt, but their clothes and hair are kinda too different to match up evenly-looking.
the background is just some thing i did in photoshop ages and ages ago. i might upload it here by itself sometime...

OMG Naruto ^^ weeeeeeeee..........SO cool. Damn...you should have said something about your tablet. I could have bought one for your well you know ><. *Other friend* and I spent ages trying to get you a gift and all...We had no idea what to get you.

Back to the pic. I think its cool XD If thats what you do without a pen tablet then cool. I take it you didnt use the pen tool? I'm still practicing using stuff on Photoshop.....But i'm so slow and i get distracted easily. So until im actually ready to do stuff...I'll just look at cool pics. Like yours ^^.

but a GT can cost quite a bit, and you guys were all ready to get me all this random stuff, so i thought ill just save up by myself. which will take me several months at this rate... ^_^ btw, the shigure doll-thing totally rocks.

I like especially the eys, but im not to fond of the lines, I want a tablet too, I gave my friend his' back. Anyways, its still good fanart.

i am going to buy a tablet as soon as i can afford it. at tho moment, even tho its my birthday this thursday, im getting a new computer from my parents(i currently have no PC and have to resort to using my kid borthers home-built miniPC), and my friends are all getting me miscelaneous stuff, so no GT for me. *cries*
