For [link] 's OC noah contest. I decided to enter James.

Bio: The Heart had waited, waited more than thousands of years for its next accomadator, its next partner to destroy the Earl. When he was being created the Heart had felt something, almost akin to excitement, and when its partners life was almost extinguished it sent one of its loyal innocence to protect him. Wrapped in warmth from his growing soul the Heart sought him out, eager to find what sort of exorcist its partner had become in its absence. Instead, it was surprised to find its precious partner was none other than a Noah.

And the Heart's own heart, ran cold with fear.

When James' mother was still pregnant there were complications, the innocence the Heart sent formed a majority of his organs. As a result the Heart is able to control him through this parasitic innocence - and in doing so forces him to remain in his human state whenever there are noah or akuma about.

Although it means he is immune to attacks like Tyki's - who cannot pass through innocence - his life is constantly in peril. For if the heart is found, and destroyed, his own heart, comprised of innocence, will dissapear. Working with split second decisions and mere minutes at a time when the Heart is not watching his every move, emotion or thought, he seeks out the Noah's help - who are more than eager to take the information that he knows.

Age: somewhere between 17 and 19
Eye colour: normally blue (gold when noah)
Hair colour: a dyed rusty brown (grey/black when noah)
Side: hates the Heart, who holds his life for ransom and, in his opinion, only protects him as her possession, rather than its partner. Will join any side that can offer him freedom from the innocence inside him, without killing him, although he is forced to do the Heart's bidding.
Parents: the 14th and one of his followers.
Power: Possibly stunted through constant contact with innocence, his Noah powers are very limited, restricted to being able to move objects. Although he is very agile, and more of a tactician in battle to overcome this disadvantage. His connection to the Heart also allows him to be able to sense the presence of other innocence, who can assist him if he asks and receives their permission for their temporary use.
Personality: Bitter and cold, through many hard trials and too used to abandonment for the Heart's liking, he sorely wishes for the close family the Noah clan possesses, and resents that the Heart refuses to even allow him to reveal himself as one of their own, for fear out of its own preservation. Although calm (albiet sarcastic) in human form, when he is finally allowed to turn noah, he can be a little...unstable.
