Actually, I may have to disagree *sits down on a park bench* Your alters can change 'your' reality, by changing the lens of how you perceive the world and how you perceive yourself. *sips cola* Granted, an alter CAN be self destructive (I am no stranger to that) BUT, an alter can be aggressively constructive, or necessarily destructive, in a methodical manner. An alter can fill in the gaps per say, but only if you let them. *throws out some bread to the birbs* From my perspective, an alter can be a way to do something you think you can't do, by smashing the walls holding you back. From a biological aspect, you can change reality. BUT, if your heart isn't in it, well, upload one of your alters to provide a logarithm that works. And you'll see that sometimes, even hunger can't stop you, even sleep can't stop you, even anxiety can't stop you.

I say, change the lens, and look at it from a different perspective.
