Thank you very much I've actually studied the expressions of Crash Bandicoot character's average expressions and even Warner Bros cartoons to give it a sort of nostalgic feel while keeping it fresh. I'm actually considering the "making" of my comic process when I get to like... chapter 3 or 4 (which will take a while )and the making of the layout is surprisingly easy.

You're planning to make a fake crash comic? Why not start it now? I'd love to read it, and you know as they say: Practice makes perfect Fake Crash is one of my most favourite CB characters and... he might make a special appearance in this here comic too

Well I do have a few pages sketched up, I just feel like the expressions are bleh, well it is just a (very) simple cartoony look with dotted eyes and such. Example here [link] I have a little bit of a story in mind, but I feel like I'd tell it horribly. It's also just gonna have square panels like a strip. But yeah, by doing this I am practicing to get better at it.

I made it so simple, so I can finally start on something, and then later on, I'll make a better layout and put more thought into it and the story.

Omg it's so cute OMG I WILL READ YOUR COMIC also if you ever doubt yourself, just read up a lot of webcomic tutorials and look at the process of your favourite webcomics as well. The most important thing is to never feel scared to start it, because as soon as you do, you will improve within time I got a little bit of practice with comics through original character tournaments (and I lost easily |D) so I have a small idea of what I'm doing, but really I got most of my knowledge from google, OCT's put my esteem for comics into the ground xD;;

Anyways you should go through with it it's ok if it's inconsistent due to experimenting because you're just starting out, even my pages look all derpy because I was testing different colouring methods, lineart, and programs.

The most important thing though, is to storyboard/write a script for your plot before executing it. That way you can look back and see what you need to fix before doing it on your good copy you could also buy a notebook from the dollar store to jot down random ideas. It's what I do \0/

Anyways I wish you good luck for your comic idea! Your art style is adorable and I support it

Well thanks so much on the interest and advice! And yeah, I know storyboard is important, it's just my weak spot and yeah I should write down some of the random ideas I have, because eventually I forget.. but anyways again thanks for the advice and I'll be sure to follow them!

Storyboarding's pretty easy you don't have to do it professionally.... in fact mine looks like this [link] a bunch of scribbles no one would understand except me (unless you put it side by side with the comic, but even then some parts don't make any sense) also writing down your ideas is not only to avoid forgetting something, but you can organize in what order you want the events to happen. It's very helpful when planning things on paper. Anyways, again I wish you luck on your fake crash comics if you feel nervous to make a long story right now, you could make mini comics as warm ups

Yeah, mini comics sound good, I'm just a bit blank though, but I'm sure to come up with something.
Oh and the storyboard looks neat, I guess it's more of the paneling or something, but I see.

Well, when I make mini comics I'll be sure to show you and tell me what you think about it.

Storyboarding helps a lot with paneling, especially since that's my personal weakspot and can't wait to see your comics in the near future

Thank you so much I haven't been able to make a lot of pages like I've intended to during my break, because of a commissioned comic and spending time with family ^x^ but I'm really hoping to get the next pages in soon! The next page has a lot of detail so I'm hoping I don't go lazy with the lining/colouring like my beginning pages xP
