I needed something to pass the time at work today so I decided to unfold another helmet. I decided on the Dragon Scale Helmet because I don't think anyone has unfolded this one yet.DOWNLOAD: www.mediafire.com/download/xwv…

Could you please tell me how to rip the 3d models from the game and unfold them? I would like to do this with Elder Scrolls games and a couple of other games. If need be, you can contact me at TheInsaneShawnReynolds@gmx.com

First you have to have the game installed to your computer so you have access to the .bsa files. A program called bsaopt will convert those 3d files to the .nif format . Then use nifscope to convert those to the more commonly used .obj format. I use a free 3d modeling program called metasequoia to alter the files and get them ready for pepakura. Pepakura designer is a program that you'll have to pay for if you want to make your own pepakura files. It probably took me a couple of weeks to figure out all these steps, so hopefully you'll be able to use this rough guide to figure it out as you go.

This looks just absolutely amazing! It must have cost you a lot of time to do it. If it's not too much trouble, could you send the pdo file to me? My email is Hanagoori@gmail.com. Because I've been looking for a cool looking helmet to complete my costume for the Fantasy fairs and if I can make this, add some clay, sand it and paint it, it would look wicked with the rest.
