Such an adorable doggy! I also have a hound dog, but he's a dachshund.

I live in Texas, one of the lowest states in the US. Since my town is also located on the lower part of the Texas coast, we basically don't have a winter season - especially compared to where you live! Most people here turn into ice cubes if the temperature falls below 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Snow only occurs once every 30 years, so it's considered a miracle when it does. It's funny how one person's annoyance is another person's amazement.

Wow. Sorry for my rambling! By the way, what is your dog's name?

First of all, thank you!
Well, I've never been in USA yet, but I really like your country, especially Texas and California. I must say, I love winter. It's something magical. When you are sitting home, and watching falling snow. Marvelous. But my dog...he doesn't. He hates when he has wetted paws. He's freaking out. And that's why "Snow is bleh" Well, I live in Poland and winter season is something normal, but nevertheless I can't imagine entire year without snow. It must be annoying, beacuse snow is something different than only grass and green trees.
It's okay. I like, when people have something to say. My dog's name is Jasper (but I don't like twilight, it's only name )
Sorry for my english.

Yes, California is also a large state with all sorts of beautiful landscapes. I'd like to visit it when I'm older! To me, snow is very pretty, but I definitely would not like having it each winter. Driving on the ice is so dangerous. But maybe I'm just like all the other Texans - we do NOT like the cold! Sadly, we have been under an 'exceptional' drought (the most severe stage of drought)for 3 or 4 years straight. Basically, one third of all the plants and trees in south Texas have been brown and shriveled year-round for the passed couple of years. Despite that, I still love it here. The sky is always the perfect color of blue, the breeze is always great, and the roar of the ocean always soothes my mind. I guess the closest thing we have to snow is our white sand dunes!

Your English is very good, actually.
