Description The first of my Christmas watercolor giftarts, for one of my best friends, and cosplay bro-kun . Jack and Claire are two of his original characters from his novel, Haystacked Cradle, which is very soon to be published! I chose an Autumn setting since it's his favorite season, and also, since it is actually Autumn when Jack and Claire get together in-book. I really had a lot of fun working on this, needlesstosay!

oh yes, i already commented on this in my note from christmas that i sent you but again, i asbolutely was blown away when i saw this picture! it really made my heart do leaps and somersaults karen-chan and i must thank you again! the way both characters are looking at each other and the smiles they both have on......it just inspires me over and over again.

Yes! It is epic, and something that anime and non-anime fans can enjoy alike. Granted, anime fans will be able to pick up on some of the subtle anime-inspired nuances he put in there, but it's really done quite well, and the characters are really well fleshed out and brimming with personality and depth!

ah Autumn...now just a memory (and not a very good one at that...I was in Australia this autumn, so the season was actually Spring!)

still, i like the warm colours and tones. Bueno!

Oh wow, that must've been kinda strange but awesome at the same time! It always kinda throws me for a loop that below the equator they get the opposite seasons, so when it's winter up here, it's summer down there! Thank you very much, Darke-kun! Your comments are always much appreciated!
