Nice! I love your cosplay! If you don't mind me asking, what is the sword made out of? would you happen to have any blueprints, tutorials, or anything you used to make it? There's a con coming up soon and I want to make a lambent light for my girlfriend's Asuna cosplay... so yea, anything you can tell me would be really appreciated

That's a thin piece of wood for the blade, with rubber textile for the hand guard and details.  
I think you have EVA foam is it? that's similar in texture and durability.

As for the blue prints... well, there are art available on google moreso now! I hope that helps you and I wish you all the best with your really thoughtful gift! She's a lucky girl!
