A fairly quick piece of Disciple from Homestuck, inspired by 'pawnce!' from the Tomb of the Ancestors album - it sounded a bit too much like bellydancing music for me to ignore, ehe;Submitted to Tumblr first but it seemed like people liked so putting up on dA?
Sorry if I seem to be submitting nothing but fanart these days, exam period - fanart helps me relax 8D;
Done from scratch in Adobe PS CS4 with intuos3 tablet, all the while listening to 'pawnce!' on repeat.

I am so glad I found this. I saw this picture when I was looking up Disciple pics on google and it's part of the reason I'm making a lion head cape for my Disciple costume. This is awesome!

Another one of many people's theories was that the Disciple was once a dancer for all the high blood subjugators, and that when The Sufferer and Dolorsa were traveling, they found her being beaten, and in the night they freed her. She was once a court dancer, the music sounds as such correct?
Though it is only a theory or thought.

Anyways, fanart is always fun to do as relaxation, you dont feel the stress or strain to make it "perfect" you can just relax with your shading and just enjoy it.

haha most of the time they don't mind though! As long as the drawing itself is good (like proportional etc) and the shading isn't just a bunch of scribbles a 5yr old could of done, its usually okay
