yeah, Sakura has her charms aswell. I don't really know why I love tomoyo best though I love sakura a lot too... maybe because I hope to be like tomoyo with all her quirks...

I know that in japanese they have this sentence "okagesamade" that's a closure to this and it's like a thanks for saying so... or something like that... but even then I wonder if it's the proper use or meaning...

Though I may not have seen much of this artist's work I might have been to exposed to a same kind of environement. I think that is probably the key to it... Have you lived in Japan or Korea? those to countries do influence the your drawing style very much. I lived in Korea when I was younger... so maybe an emerssion in that kind of place is what you need
Goodluck with it. ( though I think you should think of developping your own style because then you'll get the best most natural effect using your skills! I can see you have TONS of talent as it is!)

Yep, I think there's that to it. 
Don't worry. I've never did want to copy a style completely.
Oh, and just so you know.. Im not a regular fan of anime/manga. It's just that I was first influenced by it that Im drawing them now. As of now Im regularly implementing a lot of other aspects and not just anim into it. You can say Im an alternative manga artist, and avant-garde at that.

So true I've noticed the same and I like this aspect about art. how it really shows the world you live in in a sens. really shows one's personality

As for being a regular fan well yes I am one though I don't impose it on others
