How do you make the "exactly one pixel away from the picture" border? I've been trying to figure it out forever, and I don't really know what to look up, honestly.

Its quite easy once you know what to do! I use paint tool sai for this but the same probably applies in other programs
When I'm done with a picture i save it as a .png file with a transparent background (or you can just merge all the layers), so I have a flat image. Then, using the magic wand, with anti-aliasing unchecked (otherwise it'll be all fuzzy), select the space around the drawing. After, go to selection -> invert. Once again go to selection, but this time hit increment. Then make a new layer under the drawing and fill it with white. New layer under this and increment again, then you can fill it with a colour of your choice!
Then you can just merge the two outline layers, magic wand the white bit, and then erase it u vu

Haha yeah I couldn't think of a simpler way to explain it but the whole process takes less than a minute once you know what you're doing! u wu
