...new character appears!!
Well, while I look for a name I'm just calling him Sir : D; (also how his students call him, he works as a teacher at some university-thing~) ...he has a monocle because he has hyperopia* on his left eye @w@ aaaaand I'm almost sure that he's Blu's father :U because I want to.

I love literally everything about this! The huge but fitting eyes, the really clean lineart, the colour scheme...
And I find it really interesting how you managed to give him a monocle without making it look out of place. You don't see many people with monocles these days... P:

Sheesh, Kuri. No need to chastise us. 
Nevertheless, I’ll now tell you how I feel about this picture because I do wuv you tons! I really adore this piece! I always feel foolish commenting on your fantastically rendered line art, because it’s always the tops! One detail I’m particularly fond of is the lightness of the outline of his eye behind the monocle – a simple yet very effective feature which adds significantly to the overall aesthetics of this picture! (Like, the monocle is his hallmark or something.)
I’m ALWAYS trying to draw this sort of "dejected" pose/attitude for certain characters, but I never seem to nail it like you have here! (Sounds weird I realize, but oh well.) It’s something about how the head is oriented on the neck, I suppose. Here, his slightly depressed mood is conveyed perfectly through the combination of that head/neck thing I mentioned plus the expression on his face. (Or maybe he’s not depressed, but instead is the "constantly exhausted" type, like a Remus Lupin character. Probably because of all his dedicated students staying so late after class, debating on the day’s lesson and whatnot. ^_^)
His irises are… well, I’ll just come right out and say it- THEY’RE GORGEOUS! I get the impression that you colored them with a loving, delicate attention, gleaning different stormy blues together for the soul benefit of having his eyes, though appearing tired here, be truly vibrant and actually alive.
As always, I love the shine in his hair. I’ve never seen sheen depicted the way you do it before; it’s very original, what with the “soft-curved medical chart zigzags” (this’s seriously what I call them in my head every time I see one of your characters!) towards the sides of his head and the small circles dotted here and there. It’s become one of your trademarks, I think (at least, with me anyway). It’s pretty, yet works on a guy too, without making him seem girly or whatever.
Another thing I love about you, Kuri, is your ability to piece together flawless color schemes. Really, every deviation from you has THE BEST color schematics. Couple this with your boldly defined line art, and honestly, I don’t know how anyone could pass up your pictures without being thoroughly impressed.
Um, I don’t really have any constructive criticism for this piece, (sorry if that’s what you were looking for). I just really, REALLY like it the way it is, and wouldn’t change anything about it. I mean, for goodness’ sake, I even like the way you’ve signed and dated this pic!
In conclusion, I <3 Kuriru and her artz! (Hope this wasn’t too much; I didn’t even talk about your shading here!)

(aka you have some good eye! xDDD) ...now I'd want to be one of those dedicate students lol =w=; I'd stay with him to take his monocle and play with it rather than debating, though!

Whoa – sorry about my long, annoying English comment. Really, you have such a great command of the English language, (better than most of its native speakers! XD), I would never have suspected that you had to take awhile to write all that out! (You're lucky; I wish I were bilingual, or even better, MULTIlingual! I’m pretty fluent in Latin, but it's like, who cares?! Dead languages, man, what's the point…?! XP)
