This is a very beautiful piece of art!
The lady in the picture emits such an elegance and calmness while the wolfskull almost seems to radiate evil because of the black fog.
The colors are well chosen and a real pleasure to look at. The gold has such a beautiful shine to it and the shading is perfect.
Even though calm pictures can "bore" the viewer pretty much, I don't think that this picture is boring at all. Because of the very simple background all attention is drawn to this lady, a thing I like about this drawing - I think that this piece doesn't need any detailed background.
