Personally, for me, nothing is ever finished so I may or may not take your advice. The lower legs I can agree with but any custom leg will probably make it way too jagged atm, at least with all techniques I've seen. The arms, well, the HF plates match up with the pridak feet but I do see your point in the shininess, so I suppose I could do some photo manipulation or take another pic.

You seriously want a bio? I thought people barely read them anymore but I'll keep that on my mind!

Hmm, texture changing...there's some techniques I'd be willing to try out before sandpaper but thanks for the suggestion.

They're lame because they actually require thought to put together? HF pieces are so straightforward that they have little creative value for anything more advanced than a HF set. Besides, HF is just a cheap knockoff of Bionicle that could appeal to a wider age group to get Lego more money.

There are limb pieces that are one piece and this limb contains 4 pieces, that's a lot more than a standard rahkshi limb and a metru limb already, which I've seen on plenty of MOCs. An average hero's limb is just as simple as a glatorian's, toa's. If you think that Bionicle MOCs should only have Bionicle pieces then you are just a nostalgia fanboy unable to grasp the concept of the limitless options of MOCing.

I raged and threw that comment out, and immediately noticed how incorrect I was. I know how simplistic some Bionicle pieces can be, but there are A LOT of other Bionicle pieces that can be used to make something complex. I was also speaking more in terms of just one line. Not mixing Bionicle and HF together, but just keeping each to its own (and I have seen some really cool things done by mixing). And I was not ripping on your mock, either, if that's what you took from it. I also realize that HF has not had 10 years to grow, as Bionicle did, so they may yet come out with some really cool pieces. I am really annoyed by the simplicity of the sets being released in HF, and I was annoyed when the Glatorian sets came out as well. Even most the large HF sets (the characters, not vehicles) take little thought to see how it was put together.

Alright, well now that it's settled, let's just try to keep both of our tempers out. xD I do agree that HF does have issues with it's simplicity but eventually we'll get stuff to our own desires.
