Description And finally, but not the last, comes Tlaloc!

The Aztec god, Tlaloc, rules in everything that relates to water: rivers, lakes, canals and, of course, the rain and the seas. He's the owner of the thunder and depends on him that the rain fall down the Earth and prevent the drought so, in extension, is one of the responsibles of the life in this world.

"Tlalocan" referres to the "paradise" of Tlaloc, the place where he lives and recieves the souls of the people that died drowned or in floods, ponds or else. With his crosier, he brings the thunder and calls the rain which is provided to humanity whith the help of the "Tlaloques" or the Gods of the 4 ways, represented as vessels of whom the water sprout towards the world. He is the Blue Tezcatlipoca and rules the East side of the world and, maybe, he's the most important deity after Quetzalcoatl.

One of the items that distinguishes Tlaloc is the ornament between his upper lip and his nose which represents the entrance of a cavern where the rivers and the souls of the deads enter into the underworld.
