This is my submission for week 58 theme: the world of occult with pony. Single submission against because NATG is starting up again and I want to do the full 30 days of that.Anyway, it was a pretty simple submission. And really, who wouldn't want to see Fluttershy reduce an eldritch abomination to a whimpering husk?

Wait, how is C'Thulu an Eldrich Abomination? Aren't those supposed to be creatures whose existence is impossible? C'Thulu's design might be strange but something of a similar design could theroreticaly live on Earth.

C'thulhu, and the rest of the horrors of H. P. Lovecraft's Mythos stories, are the origin of the concept of an Eldritch Abomination. Their appearance isn't what makes them what they are; some are very human-like. What makes their existence impossible is the fact that they don't follow some (or all) of the natural laws of the (human) universe. Which is why fragile human minds break so easily just by looking at them

What I have here is just the top of his head. I had to make a scale decision trade off. I really wanted to show how angry Fluttershy was, so I had to do more of a close up. If I had shown all of C'Thulu, Fluttershy would have been a speck in the sky.
The way I drew him takes inspiration from the rendition found in Arkham Horror. Which is to say something that looks like a giant D&D Illithid (which I believe ripped off C'Thulu in the first place) with added demonic bat wings.
