Uh, oh, somepony saved over her only slot in Riovanes.Anyway, this is my first submission for the Artist Training Grounds' week 25 theme: draw a pony inspired by a book. It's been a long time since I've done wordplay with the theme, but I just had to do this. Twi is inspired by the strategy guide (it's totally still a book) to kick Wiegraf's butt after having failed to defeat him the first time. Anyone who has played the game knows exactly which Wiegraf fight I'm talking about.
This was supposed to be a quick one, but I got a little carried away on Twi, despite going back to my hybrid shading for a bit. So this ran me 90 minutes. The TV and stand also look like crap, but I guess they get the idea across.

At least for first time players, anyway. More experienced players can get away with just one, since some basic general preparation and a firm grasp (such as realizing just how overpowered Yell is) of the mechanics makes most of those tough fights quite easy.
And yea, I figure since Twi is so intellectually oriented, she'd almost certainly be a gamer if the things were more prominent (likely getting in puzzle games and RPGs... never let her near an MMO, though, she'd disappear forever!

Given her personality, I think she'd play them if they existed. Although I think puzzle games would be her primary genre. I can also imagine her getting into the mechanics of RPGs and ending up minmaxing because of her OCD nature. Turn based strategy might be something she'd like too.
And same here for FFT. I kind of wish they'd put a little more effort into the translation and the tutorial (it's so dry... it's no wonder newbies pass it over), though. Would have streamlined the game and made it even better than it is.

Get Chameleon Robe and Rubber Shoes, Twi. Those will help greatly.

Hehe, the Rubber Shoes would actually be useless (the name 'Lightning Stab' is misleading... it takes on the element of the sword being used, which in Wiegraf's case, is physical). But the Chameleon Robe would definitely work and knowing Twi's obsessive organizational skills, she's probably got at least one of every item in her reserve.

How so? I think anypony would be justified in getting annoyed at getting stuck in the Riovanes save trap.
