Description I've decided to get my butt in gear and work on finishing some of the dozens of sewing projects I've had waiting in the wings for years. I decided to start with a few small projects to get some momentum going.

This is a purse I made from the remnants of a kimono fabric bolt. It's decorated with a little tsumami kanzashi / jumping carp charm. I also pattern matched the stripes on the fabric across the purse's seams.

Though I'm certain the flowers depicted on the fabric are camelias, they remind me of briar roses.

I am really enjoying seeing how you are using the fabric from kimono bolts.
