It really depends on the size and type of kanzashi - and how much work it is to make. I'd sell something like this for about $15.

ah ok, that sounds good to me. What if I asked for something of a different flower, something with less petals, something like sakura, with a big flower, and 2 or 3 little flowers and a little bit of leaves? ask a hair pin thing?

The hair pins are usually more expensive. The one that you're describing seems rather simple, though. Without falls it would probably be about $20 or $30.

The falls are the dangling strands of petals on some of the larger pins.

It's so lovely! We actually just talked about chrysanthemums in our Chinese class too and about how they bloom in the season of frost. It's odd that a flower would pick that time to bloom, but they manage!
