Soooooo work in progress for Sparklight234! It's actually a contest entry. XDSo far I'm failing horribly.
This is my first "real" art on Sai and things like that and I'm a bit nervous about how this would turn out...
I would love some pointers.
I'm also working on a Mable (Gravity falls character) Pixels and I'm having a copy and paste problem.
You see I was doing math on my computer and I used Sai to write down math problems and then this morning I was all,' I wunna try pixel!'
Soooo I tried it on my math sheet andddddd now idk how to get it out of the math sheet.
So. Yeah.
Anyway, I just wanted to know how this looked so far.
EDIT: I GOT MABEL PINES OFF MY MATH SHEET XDDDD AS FAR AS YOU KNOW SHE WAS NEVER THERE!!!
Okay then after a while I got this done. it's still WIP thou!!!

do you want pointers on how to use sai, or how to improve the picture?

Well use it for writing so it helps you with strokes (a bit) and if you have time, go on shamber's join me or reversal studio's join me because after a while of watching you kinda learn a few tricks. (I think I do...)
TwT Improving a picture: A lot!! Of practice and erasing.
Also using a mouse is suggested if you have a laptop like I do.

Well, for SAI I have never used that software, I always use GIMP or Photoshop :/ but if SAI has layer options, use them to your advantage, I make layers for EVERYTHING, color, shading, lighting, background, background shading. Yea. Is this going to just be a head shot or is it going to be larger?

I'm not very sure myself, but we'll see the outcome, most likely will just be a head shot. TWT I'm such a failure... BUT how does it look so far?
