Not necessarily ! it depends on the kind of community you make your art known in. I've seen strict animal/ furry only artists made a living off of their art, animal art is highly requested in the furry community, so you just gotta find the right audience to fit you

Honestly I'm not a furry, I can just draw anthros/animals better then humans haha.
