this fanart specially made for for her beautiful fanfic (My Cure fo Cancer).
anyway, the fanfic is about jet and Zuko from 'avatar, the legend of Aang' it's an AU though...but it's really nice(if you're not in to gay relationship, then skip it!)
first of all: they looked different!
yeah they are, I try to represent them in my own image from the fanfic, not from the real movie, so I made this fanart for the fanfic, not from the movie(a bit confusing, huh?)
but, I do think that Jet was a bit to big...(well, not a bit!)

yeah, emo is for teenagers, adult people seems cannot enjoyed them anymore...(maybe because the lyric, which dark and hollow)
but Mew music are indeed sad, somehow it's always appears that way to me, so people sometimes reffered them as emo who is pop...whatever, though Bo already said that they're indie stadium rock, when they came to Jakarta.

Here it is sometimes considered as an insult when somebody is called emo. Emo is something shallow and showy, somebody who thinks that he's so cool when he seems do be dark and depressing. The lyrics of Mew are not self-pitying, nor suicidal, they are sort of etheral and cosmic and sadly beautiful. I don't think that anyone has the right to say that they are emo. Besides, they are too old to be emo any more

Yes, that's not us. We are not mainstream. In Estonia mainstream means that you wear hoodies and tight pants and sneakers and your hair is ideally dyed blond, you have a messy haircut, you hang around with your friends all the time and talk and laugh as loudly as you can to get on other people's nerves. And listen to rap and RnB-music.

Mew has been missing for too long. No concerts, no homepage, no new music for FOUR years, only some very rare journal entries on Myspace. People are starting to forget them. After listening to their albums again and again and again, so that I know all the lyrics by heart, no matter how loyal to them I want to be, I really admit to be getting tired of their music... I want something new. Although, yes, I still love the boys dearly! And I still want to see them in real life. How about you? Do you still listen to them every day?

Well, they don't even go to Finland that often, and they have never been in Estonia and will probably never be. I was surprised to see how many fans Sigur Ros had in Estonia, so I guess if Mew came here, all the fans would emerge from somewhere and crowd the concert-hall... even though I now think that there really aren't any Mew fans here.
