Ok, this has been on my drive forever.

So, basically it started as a joke with Helios and Chibiusa's kids coming out.. well not looking exactly like them. By the rules of anime. =3.

SO the story behind them is simple enough. (Actually changed it now to make it make sense.)

Now that Chibiusa is a lady now and grown up, she's ready to assume the title of being Queen of the Earth and Moon and marry her long time sweet heart- Helios, who's been courting her.

Everyone thought it would be a picturesque Disney wedding with a Happily ever after.

However there's a catch. There is always a catch in these tales of course.

She after she discovered she was pregnant, she had a terrible premonition about the child she was carrying may have become a carrier-or rather infected with the darkness she had lingering from when she had been corrupted by the Death Phantom. She saw that her child may very well bring the destruction of the planet - no.. not just that! The child may very well try to help Chaos itself.

Even though Helios reassured her, she worried endlessly until she came to full term.

Then another surprise for the pink haired Queen. She gave birth two twins- a girl and a boy.

The most curious thing about them were they had dark skin tone, while neither Helios nor Usa had such a skin tone.

Several tests were preformed on the twins, yet they cleared out healthy.

Thus she was confused. Was the visions really correct? She was unsure so, with Helios and the Quartet they raised the children, however Usa kept them at arm's length. Fearful of what they become.

And as they grew older the children- The boy was named Khonsu due to the moon on his forehead and the girl named Sunna due to the sun symbol on her forehead- it became much more apparent about how much they did not look like their parents despite their hair and eye color.

They were teased often enough that they were reduced to barely speaking with other except in cordial tones.

In fact from the outside they were model Princess/Prince that anyone had ever seen. Almost story book like quality to them.

The only ones that the twins seemed to graviate to was their father and the Priestesses.

Even though it pains Usa, she feels she must keep a distance from them in order to see if either one succumbs to the lure of darkness.

If only she knew where to look.
