Already go number 2 with this piece. Again its still not finished so be patient with me!
I lightened Alcuin's hair a little bit more and changed the color of his doublet at the suggestion of someone very important ~^^~ Reminiscent of his outfit he wore during his virgin price auction...I've used pictures of albino people to help me with him...white hair is so frakking hard!
I also did more shading, Aluchan, hopefully its a bit better
I'm still iffy on what I want to color Phedre's clothes, I've had suggestions of red and black and neutral colors. I won't be doing saffron...she wears too much in the first book dammit!
So far...I think I've put 12 hours into this

I would actually suggest dark blues and brown. The way you drew it almost suggests a riding outfit, and I vaguely remember her wearing something with those colors in one of the books. However, it has been a few years since I read them.

They're beautiful character designs... seriously straight out of some great novel. Are they for a book you're writing?

Actually they're from a series that exists called Kushiel's Legacy, so far it is 5 books long. Its written by Jacqueline Carey. These two are the heroine for the first 3 books, Phedre and her now passed peer, Alcuin. I didn't draw it, I'm just coloring this piece for my friend *spinizuey so send her another kind comment!
You should look it up! I highly recommend it if you enjoy fantasy, intrigue, adventure, romance, and if you don't mind a bit of adult content.

the brunette's hair is lovely, seriously it is ao soft and wow...and I love it.also I love your facial structures.. its not typical huge eyed anime..but still very well styled... I can't for the life of me perfect my human faces *sadfacelol*
