All the writting on the pic, if you couldn't geuss, is from Last Resort, by Papa Roach. Not my best work at all... but I still like it. I think it expresses how I feel pretty much. I wanted it to look rushed and dirty and all fucked up.S.Haley © Shannon Haskins 2002

lol noooo... I was using a bright red marker that had a brush tip on one end and a fine tip on the other. It was starting to run out of ink, so it kind of created that streaky blood look when using the brush end... I also used a maroon colored marker in certain spots to make any bloodiness have a little more depth.

Very cool, so many things I like about it, minimalistic but still looking quite finished, the scrawled text all over, the dripping blood and lastly it kinda looks like a polaroid with parts popping out of it.
Not the greatest to hear that it's how you felt at the time but most people have been there before, and don't have pretty pics to show for it.

Nice of "Last Resort" by Popa Roach to incorporate it into the overall composition. This reminds me of an assignment we had in art class once back in high school where we designed a picture and wrapped text around it representing emotions and the like. ^^
I think if you gave her a cool color scheme, you'd bring out the depression side in the character and bring out the blood text. When they're both the same, they sorta blend in with each other and it doesn't have as much impact.
