Weapons and Abilities:
Cortez is able to use Cruellock's powers over darkness and shadow, such as creating illusions, travelling via the shadows, and being a downright sneaky snake! He brandishes a unique dagger that can channel his shadow powers through. Cortez is an intelligent, calculative, relentless, cold-blooded, callus killer, but he is no villain, as he is more of an antihero.

Bio:
The son of a cruel tribe leader in South America, Cortez was ashamed of his father's actions, and thus, he and his mother secretly organized a rebellion, but made it out to his father that the tribe's people were revolting. As the massive rebellion struck, Cortez's father was unable to realize that the real enemy was his own son and wife! Cortez then murdered his father for the sake of his tribe's people. While he may be haunted by murdering his father, Cortez then became the ruler of the tribe, and ever since then, the tribe has thrived in a better life! Cunning, Stealthy, and always right behind you, Cortez is the only Primeval Champion who uses the powers of Darkness! As the Primeval Champion of Cruellock, both the god and Cortez also act as a double agent for the good guys, spying on the villains and obtaining valuable information. Cortez also likes to practice keeping his teammates on their toes by doing staged assassination attempts.

Moral is, Cortez may be unorthodox as a hero, but he plays the hero in his own way, so watch your back, otherwise the last thing you'll feel is his knife in your back!
