Sometimes in life, there comes a time where you've found an important goal you want to achieve. It's like running; you have a destination you want to reach. The journey may be exhausting, but you keep chasing that light, keep running towards it. And you know in your heart that, although you're not there yet, it's just a matter of time.

Just like a lot of other artists here, I've loved art since a very young age, but have been told that "I'll starve" if I choose the path of art. Hence I grew up thinking that art can never be anything more than just a hobby. Yet, 20 years and a law degree later, I find myself back at square one, my love for art fierce as never before.

Often, people weigh you down with comments like "it's impossible", "stop dreaming", "you'll never make it".
Though I am far from the standards of a professional artist; this piece is far from being a masterpiece; but it's a step in my journey, a step closer to my destination.

"I may not be there yet, I may still have a way to go, but
-I'll get there. Just you wait."

Edit: Opps, I forgot to mention. This is Tatty/Tatsuka, my Fenrir/hellhound character, who's also my 'sona and alter ego. If you've noticed, I've revamped his colour a little again, going for his original design from last time. I guess I just like that better

I recorded this speed paint for two reasons:
1. Someone once asked me if "just owning a tablet and Photoshop would automatically make you able to draw brilliantly, even without any drawing skills?"; I hope to show her this.
2. I've seen a lot of speedpaint videos, and some have truly inspired me. I hope that one day perhaps, this video of mine would do the same for others.
