Description At my first out-of-state con, I had the wonderful chance to do a mini-shoot with *Mailyann at Animazement 2011. She made such a gorgeous female Kakashi that I felt so ashamed standing next to her sometimes... >.<;

It was really sunny and hot out, but her parasol came in handy when we took breaks throughout the day, haha.

We had some hilarious moments during the mini-shoot.. and some of the crew kept pointing out to me all the photographers behind us who tried to take some ninja-shots.

How do you find out about all these meetups and conventions?

Most of the meetups are by word-of-mouth (a.k.a. Facebook)~
And conventions are an annual thing (the general dates for each convention are always the same every year). I only know about the big conventions (mostly on the East Coast) like AnimeNEXT, NYAF, Otakon, Anime North, Katsucon, Fanime and Anime Expo (in L.A.)... but there are many small ones all across the states.

You're right, Kakashi's scar is supposed to be on his left eye.
But I believe the cosplayer decided to flip everything around (hair, scar, and eye) since she was cosplaying as the opposite gender.
