Its a pity that Bass despite being based on Megamans design and technically being some kins of sibling or half brother to Megaman and Roll ended up as aΒ sociopath, still seems that megaman will attempt to turn him good

I underlined the parts were i saw roll calling megaman name(Rock or Rockman in Japan); there are parts were that evil Robot mentions megaman name too(like the panel that follows roll hiding the present on the back and then the robot mentions megamans name but i didnt feel was necessary to udneline every part)

Now that i think of it, your story its a bit of familiar of how megaman 8 manga started, just that in megaman 8 manga megaman is playing football with his friends and all of a sudden bass attacks and megaman has to act as a diversion since its clear bass will hurt anyone that stands on the way(his friends, dr light, roll, auto, etc), then megaman beats bass in a similar way like in megmaman 8 the game and roll picks him up; then some story plot and we get the valentine time you just saw
And there is even more in R20 complete works, but i think that capcom just went a bit to far with this one, XD
