Scott Grayson once was a circus acrobat, until his parents were tragically accident that caused by him when activated his mutant ability to fire powerful blasts of energy from his eyes. He feel guilty and run away from the circus, until adopted by Barbara Xavier, Eagle Eye was given the training to harness his guilt and sadness over his parents death as well as being given a ruby quartz visor to control his optic blasts. He is a gifted and charismatic leader, making him a natural fit to lead the team.
