Description
December: the smell of christmas cookies (it's a German thing
) and the memory of dark nights lit by candles 
I hope this image can convey these things at least to some degree...
Again an addition to my parent's calender.

I don't really know what to say about this, I'm left pretty dumbstruck.
I like everything about it, but one thing in particular that caught my eye was the colour and texture of it - it looks so ancient. This then got me thinking that it's absolutely perfect because December is ancient. So are all of the other months, of course. December is dark and it's cold but, as shown here, at the heart of it all there's that warm glow of happiness that you get from Christmas.
So, to me, this is a rather brilliant summary of December.
