I really like how this is such a stylized piece but at the same time it is very clearly Kanda. It's really neat how you added so many elements of beauty but yet gave him his typical stoic expression. The two work really well together in this piece! ^_^

Wow, I always knew Kanda's hair had to be a labor of love but five hours? I commend you for sticking it out to the end!
It's a really unique style and kind of bold even. I really love it! Especially the use of patterns.

I CAN IMAGINE HOW DIFFICULT HIS HAIR WAS ;3333;. *hugs* The end result definitely looks good, though, so it's worth the effort, right~

Love the traditional look, though I have to admit that I'm sad the lineart isn't like brush strokes. But the patterns really make this beautiful~ Ahhhh, Kandaaa !

Oh my goodness Even though I love Kanda, it's not just Kanda that I'm drooling over (although that certainly has some influence over my decision). I absolutely adore everything about this picture. First off your color scheme is beautiful. The colors are somewhat muted, but it gives them this deep rich look. Next, just how highly stylized everything is from the prints on the BG screen, to the patterns on the fan, to the beautiful designs on his kimino, all of it is just wonderful. Oh, and don't even get me started on his hair! It must have taken you forever to create all of those individual strands, but it really pays off. His pose is also so wonderful, very graceful yet with a hint of danger, just like Kanda himself. Very beautiful work on one of favourite characters! (Although Lavi is my love first and foremost ) Definite fav!
