EP. 13Always save your work every 15 ~ 20 mins or each time you make some important changes of your document.
In case something bad happens (software not responding..etc),all the hard work that you have put in for the past few hours would have gone in vain.
Trust me,you wouldn't want that to happen in your life

And thats why i don't use Photoshop anymore. It ALWAYS crashed. -_-

This happened to me twice today and I had to start again from the very beginning, I wasted aboutΒ 5 hours doing the work I already didΒ then anotherΒ 5 hours because I didn't learn from my mistakeΒ at the first time.(10 hours in total were wasted from my day)
lesson learned, I hope I will never make this mistake again in my life.

I think we've all made that mistake. I make photo edits for my sculptures, and I've gotten them done only to not save and have the program crash.

Before i was like Β when that happend. But since i got CS6 it saves itself.
Like it because it remembers on the days with CS2 & CS3Β

Unfortunately I know exactly what you're talking about. Β I used to forget about saving regularly and then either a) I did something I had no idea how to un-do (in my early days of using PS, where I was still trying to get a feel for it) or b) my computer froze.
The way you illustrated tha 'problem' is very adorable. Β Well done!

One time I was actually drawing something decent on paint, and then my computer was like "You've been working on this long enough!" and crashed, thus deleting my fairly good work.

I've become so paranoid about saving my work constantly that compulsively hitting ctrl-s has become a tic for me, and I do it every few minutes, even if I haven't even altered the file I'm working on!

Once I lost my artwork because power went off just when I was saving. More than that, I also lost the copy (Ctrl + Alt + S, I use it all the time too) of this work. Now I create 3 copies of everything
