Description This is a tutorial for advanced photoshoppers who are tired of wrinkles or just craggy skin. This is what professional editors use when marketing powder or foundation. So every time you are jealous for the soft-skin -models, remember this tutorial. The picture lies like 1000 words, like they say.

Who is this adorable model? She has the cutest cheeks! I'd love to see more of her.

I LOVED THAT but just wondering... mine came out kinda "plastic"y.. so is there a way to like make the person look "uncakey"/ plasticy? XD

you're propably adding too much of the filters, add a little less px to them. Leaving the gaussian blur to just 1-3 px makes the deal. I have also found some skin-brushes to make the skin look more "real", but I don't remember where I found them... try to google "skin" "pore" "photoshop brushes" for example.

This also makes the deal with "cleaning" your messy legs!

hey thats fantastic! a technique i was shown for brushing in an effect like that rather than erasing a layer i find gives me more control. umm simply put:

add a layer mask to layer 1. ctrl D to fill with black

select the brush tool and a medium opacity cos we want to preserve some of the original detail underneath

make sure your foreground colour is white and simply brush in your layer.

you can play around with different opacity brushes to give you a nice blurred line between the original detail and the new skin. oh and if you want to reverse anything you've done with the white, simply change the brush to black (background colour) and brush it back in.

flatten image.

hope that wasn't too confusing lol could be stuff for a tutorial, but I've only just discovered the tutorials so busy playing around!!

Cheers
