I had to check whether I was awake or not. At least I can find solace in the fact that this drawing is a bit more tangible and persistent than my dreams.
Regardless, it is a truly fine work. Her expression alone is captivating, it transforms the portrait into something almost dreamlike in combination with the lighting. Sublime.
