You never cease to amaze me.
At a glance, the concept of the work may seem trivial, however, as one gazes deeper into the depths of the painting, one comes to a realisation that everyday life is, in fact, trivial as well. What makes a scene special is the way people perceive it (especially during our hectic daily lives), or in the case of artwork, the way it is depicted. The stunning manner, in which the scene is illustrated, truly makes it stand out.
The style of the painting is impeccable, the sepia and watercolour-like tones are a perfect fit for the scene. The red scarf is a lovely touch as well, it complements the girl as well as the scene itself well.
