Description This is one of the pieces I had said I made in my Wood classes, about a year ago. really no excuses....

Its carved in cedar wood, about an inch thick (the wood, not the carving), carving itself is about half a cm; the board is 22*28 cm

after carving it, the teacher took it and burned it with a torch, I like the effect it left.

hehe, I found out first hand why its called 'cedro amargo' 'bitter cedar', it is quite literally bitter, both taste and smell

and the different smells of the different kinds of woods, and how they smelt after being burned, so different, interesting, and may I say even lovely

oh my, I'm rambling, guess I shouldn't upload things this *cough* early in the mornings
