I drew Amy as a Crystal Gem and her gem is rose quartz.^^ I tried to draw this into SU style, but it looks about close, I think.Oh and her birthday was on Sept. 23. Happy late Birthday

Oh, here's a suggestion for you! Name her/have her gemstone be Kunzite instead. Kunzite is another pretty pink gemstone...I know you were trying to have her be Rose, because of the character's name, but as I said before, there's already a character named that in the TV show, and it's a rather pivotal character too...Steven's Mother.

I don't think that was the point. It's not a character that's existent in the current SU cast, It's an homage to the series. Besides, The name Rose quartz fits the situation much better, as it's clever and accurate.
