Dragonite are very strong, very fast Pokémon. When they become particularly angry, they may go on a rampage, and will be unable to control their aggression for some time. They are also able to use many elemental attacks such as Thunder, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Water Pulse, and the elemental punches. Dragonite flies at a speed unmatched and often, at a high enough altitude, have been known to break sound barriers. The speed of their flight is so immense they are able to circle the globe in sixteen hours, traveling roughly 1,556 mph, or about three times the speed of an average airplane. Dragonite have also been known to be resilient to a fault, despite it's general gentle nature, and will relentless assail its opponent even when wounded. Original Lines

If Dragonite really did have a Dragon/Fairy dual type for it's mega evolution, it would be the only Dragon type to go against Fairy types which would really bring a sort of balance in power between the Dragon and Fairy types. It's almost like Spiritombs Dark/Ghost Type really. This would look beast if it was drawn in the Official Pokemon concept, but still nice job.

Looks like a cross between Dragonair and Dragonite -- but in a good way. It's not over-designed like 90% of fanmade megas, it still looks very much like regular Dragonite and the added flairs are welcome.

Wouldn't its japanese name be MegaKairyu? Mega Ampharos's japanese name is MegaDenryu - they just don't use a space.

Does it matter? Personally I think charizard should lose its flying type and gain the dragon typing when it mega evolves. I really like this design too, its wings are smaller and cuter so I think it mixing with fairy type is pretty cool and not ill fitting at all.
