There's tons of misconception about cosplay though, I got friends all dressed up as some military guys, like colonels & generals, not related to any shows or games. Just like that. Anyway, I prefer the US ones better, not only it has western and more balanced characters, more importantly, I see adult girls as well, not just young school girls and few college girls like I have here. It's no fun here, US ones are the best, just as US has the best conventions too (Blizzcon, Gamescon, Comiccon, etc...)

my wish is travel some day at one of that conventions, in Chile the most popular convetions are expensive and a bad level in the organitation .
the cosplay convents are less, and the mayority are about anime, sometimes are very boring, all the girls just want to see yaoi and don't have respect for the families who goes with kids
I disagree with the yaoi in public, I mean, is like porno but in cartoon, in public is nt correct, but the girls looks like stupids

Dear me, now that makes me feel terrible for your case. Well, that's why US are much better, though I've been told that Naruto ain't a welcoming choice. But still, if I were there, I can dress as the BLU Spy or Dai Li Agent from Avatar, Dai Li is 50/50 because the show is US made while the character is suitable for anime as well due to its Asian origin.

US convention, justifie the price of the ticket, in Chile no...that is the reason why I want to travel to US or Brazil Comic Con , also, I watched heroes of cosplay, and I fell in love of the places, I have some cosplay that I didn´t wear, beacause I don´t have the "perfect place" for the pictures xd

I can imagine the same, I too want to go to US, it's kind of like haven for all those who seek the dream of having good cons, society & culture, the famous holidays, and of course, less corruption in politics.
