This script speeds up the process of making brushs for use with gimp.It automatically,
Flattens the image
coverts to greyscale
saves the image as .gbr

Sorry not been on site for a while. Not sure if either script are usable now been a while since I used gimp and I know changes have been made to the scripting side. From memory this script turns the current image into a brush the other script turns a folder of images into brushes

does it also speed up the process of loading brushes on gimp 2.6 and earlier versions?
it would be most excelent if you could make both programs and combind them into a zip file,
