Ian Love's Hear a Song is a soft, soothing, calm thing celebrating the healing powers of music. Alesana's Hymn for the Shameless goes from heavy to smooth with haunting vocals and chilling screams with intricate guitar guitar parts carrying the story along. This song is about a sketch artist who finds his wife murdered and goes insane from the loss of her. (No, I didn't get all of that from just the song, it's the fifth chapter in the story). These songs have no correlation in either genre, feel, or meaning. So why these two? Because that's how I feel.
