Description The official V1 reference sheet for my pony mascot, Penstroke Valentine. She is a pegasus with a bluish-silver white coat, a spiky and curly mane with shades of pink, and silver-accented wings. She has a heart cutie mark with an ink pen going through it (like a cupid's arrow). She has a black necklace with a golden heart pendant (which has the same line and circle design as the tip of the ink pen on her mark). She has orange eyes and insides of ears. She has a small, golden fang.
When drawing in the FiM cartoon style, she will not have the wing accents/pattern and would not have the colored ear insides, but everything else would remain the same. She has a Twilight-like eye shape with Fluttershy's eyelashes.

She's pretty much a redesign of my childhood ponysona...who was just a recolor of Fluttershy but white.  Her name was also 'Hearty Paws', and had a cutie mark that was a heart of this same color, but with a black dog/cat paw inside the heart instead. Yeah...more than obviously made by a child.
However, I redesigned her around October of 2022. I did a whole explanation of her new design in my phone notes to share when I finalized her design (I had a LOT of struggles with how I'd like her mane pattern to go before making this sheet), and here's how it went--

Penstroke Valentine is heavily inspired by the G4 toy-only pony Diamond Rose , a personality inspired by the Butterfly Island pegasi in G3 led by Starcatcher--yes, Penstroke loves ice cream too--and her mane and tail design kind of tell a story. The spiker parts of her mane resemble that of G4 Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo's, as they represent how confident I wish I could be. The curls, which I am aware are seen on ponies like Bon-Bon too, are actually inspired by G4 Sweetie Belle. I actually wanted that to represent my creativity and how I relate to her older sister Rarity in so many ways, buuut I hate drawing Rarity's mane. That's the whole reason.  But, even past that, as I practice Rarity and start to understand her hair more , I believe that the little curls fit Penstroke better and make her even cuter. Something probably quite evident to you now is how I kin/relate to Fluttershy. The overly-quiet voice, the shyness, the love of nature, the soft pastel girly vibes, the anxiousness...and man do I wish I had the ability to just fly up and sleep on a fluffy cloud on a Summer day...
Of course, the lighter pink of Pen's mane is a very close match to Fluttershy's mane color, but not exact for originality.
Initially, Pen's eyes were brown. I have bluish-greenish-grey eyes IRL, but since one can basically do whatever they want with their own creation, I thought "why not just make her look how I wish I looked?" However, I changed it to orange because it feels more unique, makes a fantastic color contrast, and it reminds me of sunsets; something else I'm all about.
And to address the elephant in the room--She's a lot like Sweetheart of G1.  Sweetheart is the pony I relate to most out of this entire franchise, and my all-time favorite character. I didn't make Pen an earth pony for this reason--the characters would be far too similar.
Finally, the fang was mostly a random thing I made up. (I, uh...I promise she isn't secretly a pirate.) While I couldn't get it exact with the program I use, her darker mane stripe is the same color as the background of the K in my logo, while her coat is the same as the W background.

For my take on ponies, she has fluffy dark grey fetlocks and a muzzle. The spots on her arms are less of circles and more of half-hearts, and they are light silver, like the inside of her wings. Her hooves are golden.
