this is a gift for an amazingly talented artist the innovator of star superion and capitol comics. this is a wonderful character that inspires the glory days of comic books and i've been itching to do my own version of him. i wanted to do a professional drawing of this character, so i referenced the best in the business. i looked at the works of ian churchhill,the late michael turner,jim lee, and art adams. and put this one together i can't claim total credit for this since references were used but i think i put enough of my self into it to call it my own. i hope likes this and all of you too.Related content

The anatomy is convincing and detailed, and the pose is very actiony with the muscles tensed in the right places. Excellent!

This guy's so much better than the traditional superheroes with their little chicken legs
Have you ever noticed how superheroes tend to have big upper body muscles, but almost no lower body muscles?
I think your piece has a much better balance

that's a very good point i've never really though about that. i guys it kinda depends on the artist though but yeah i think the hero should be well proportioned everywhere, thanks for the compliments

That's true, different people draw in different styles.
Personally, I like your style with well-balanced proportions much better than the ice-cream cone style figures that appear in majority of superhero movies/comic books, etc

looks nice
lots of detail and good use of the subjects overall position.
perhaps some colour would be nice just to make it really pop out especially in thumb forum to make the viewer become curious to check it out.
but other than that its good
