All the preparations were set.
Sefu had done all his chores and homework and had been rewarded accordingly. A long folding table stood proudly in the middle of the living room, adorned with two plates of fresh cookies (courtesy of his mom). Extension cords slithered across the floor, distributing themselves conveniently between each chair. Sefu had set up his own computer at the end of the table. The only thing left to complete the picture were his friends.
Once the last of his friends arrived, the Civilization LAN party began. The unique mix of competition and camaraderie that filled the air buzzed within Sefu. He reveled in the fellowship of all his friends. Civilizations rose and fell, witty remarks and jokes were exchanged, and once the game was won, his friends eventually left one by one.
As Sefu cleaned up, he just couldn't wipe the huge smile off his face.
Extra || I just have to say that I am in love with the design of the viscet! I instantly thought of the song Baba Yetu as a perfect fit for this viscet once I read the prompt, and spent some time coming up with a little story to go with it. The song is the theme for the game Civilization IV. This viscet seemed like the kind who values fellowship, so I was able to tie a story to the song by having Sefu play the game with all his friends!
