I don't count anything in the comics as canon. Which is a shame cause those are where the characters have the most personality. Otherwise characters come off over rated when praised. *cough Red

I don't think Ash Greninja is a fusion it's more of a new form. Honestly I thought Mega evolutions were cool I just hope it doesn't just become a gimmick. We didn't even get mega evolutions for gen 7 until the post game.
